Soda Stream Review + Giveaway

I was given the opportunity to review the Soda Stream, recently, which was incredibly exciting. I am not a huge soda person myself, however, my husband probably drinks a 12 pack of soda a week or more, plus drive thru's and going out to dinner, so Soda Stream is the perfect way for us to save a bit of money as well as help the environment without producing more plastic bottles and cans.

For those of you unfamiliar with what the Soda Stream is, it is an at home machine to create your very own soda. The soda stream has so many great advantages to it, such as not having to store all of those 2 liters or cans, not having to lug those 12 or 24 packs of cans in and out of the grocery store, car and around the house, as well as saving the environment from the plastic bottles filling up or landfills.

There are several different soda flavors to choose from, and even for those of you that aren't soda drinkers like myself, there is flavored water :) Soda Stream provides over 100 different syrup flavors such as: Mango Apple Clear, Green Tea, Xstream Energy, ISOTONIC Redberry Sport, Cola, Lemon Lime, Dr. Pete, Sparkling Natural Black Currant and Pear, Lemonade and so much more.

I decided for my first try to try out the Diet Cranberry Raspberry, sample syrup. The process is so easy. Fill the bottle with cold water up to the fill line printed on the bottle. Screw the bottle into the machine.

Once the bottle is attached tap the button on the top of the machine a minimum of 3 times to add the fizz to the water. You will hear a loud buzz when it is complete. Once the bottle is fizzed pour the syrup into the bottle and shake. Wah-Lah you're done :)

It is so incredibly simple. You can easily mix syrups to create your very own mixes too! I absolutely loved the taste and do not plan to buy any more bottled or canned sodas!
